Condition & Grading Guide

Single card conditions

• Near Mint (NM) — looks fresh from the pack. Minimal to no wear.
• Lightly Played (LP) — minor edge or corner wear, light scratches. Great for binders and decks.
• Moderately Played (MP) — noticeable wear, whitening, or scuffing. No creases.
• Heavily Played (HP) — heavy wear, possible minor creases.
• Damaged (DMG) — tears, bends, water damage, or writing.

Graded cards

Graded cards are authenticated and sealed by a third-party company. Each listing shows the grading company, the grade, and the certification number so you can verify it on the grader’s website before you buy.

• PSA — 1 to 10 (10 = Gem Mint).
• BGS (Beckett) — 1 to 10 in half points, with subgrades. Black Label = perfect 10s.
• CGC — 1 to 10 in half points; Pristine 10 is the top.
• SGC, TAG, ACE — 1 to 10 scales.
